Kampala Medical Chambers Hospital Limited (KMCH) is operating in a Six Stored Medical complex located on plot 73 Buganda Road at JOWIRO.
The growth of the hospital started as a Kampala Medical Chambers Clinic and Laboratory services in1997.
It initially operated as a partnership before being incorporated in 2000 as Kampala Medical Chambers Limited and later the change of name to Kampala Medical Chambers Hospital in 2014 after expanding into a fully-fledged hospital located in a state of the art complex building (JOWIRO).
The Hospital was started by three Specialist doctors: Dr Joseph Turyabahika (SURGEON), Dr Wilson Were (PAEDIATRICIAN) and Dr Romano Nkumbwa Byaruhanga(OBS & GYN).
The concept to start a health unit originated when studying during their post graduate studies in Zimbabwe between 1992 and 1996. From their experience and observation, a common vision was to establish similar quality health deliveries services back in Uganda.
This was further complimented by the Uganda government with The United National Development programmer (UNDP) through a program Transfer of Knowledge through Expatriate Nationals (TOKTEN).
After finishing the consultancies in Uganda, the three doctors were posted to Uganda Martyrs Hospital Rubaga and St. Francis Hospital nsambya under Ministry of Health respectively.
During these 24 years from 1997 to 2021, they embarked on slowly investing all their resources in establishing a Model Health facility and subsequently building a State of the Art hospital in Kampala on JOWIRO.
The Shareholders presently for KMCH are Dr Joseph Turyabahika and Dr Romano Nkumbwa Byaruhanga.

The Focus was to build a strong and sustainable institution that will be able to provide holistic quality medical care, with super-specialized in both curative and preventive care. The Hospital would also be well positioned to implement training as well as projects/research programs in a sustainable manner.

We have a modern laboratory equipped to carry out a variety of tests. The laboratory works to ensure accuracy and authenticity of results for all tests carried out & therefore assist treatment plans by our doctors.

We are equipped with state-of-the-art equipment and operated by skilled Radiologists.
Psycho counselling unit
We have experts that will help people with a broad variety of mental illnesses and emotional difficulties. The psychotherapy can help eliminate or control troubling symptoms so a person can function better and can increase well-being and healing.
Ambulance
The Ambulance Services are available 24/7 with a team of Medical Officers and Nurses skilled in different Specialties on standby 24/7 to cater to any emergency or accident that comes through the Hospital doors.

Pre –qualified submission will be evaluated in accordance to the guidelines

Pre –qualification is open to all eligible bidders, further information can be obtained from the Administration office between 09:00am -5:00pm(Monday –Friday ) except on public holidays
